Since I’ve been using Flexiciser™, only a matter of four months, I’ve seen an amazing difference. I am able use all my leg muscles and the spasticity which was severe is now almost non-existent. I am able to stand up for prolonged periods of time... I am a Vietnam Veteran, and I was exposed to Agent Orange. I was diagnosed with multiple scleroses seven months ago. I felt there was no hope for me to use my legs muscles again, never mind be able to stand up for a long period of time and have no fear of falling…the muscles in my right and left leg are returning to the way they were before I got sick. This disease is physically and mentally traumatizing… when you see that you can use your legs again it gives you renewed hope… I can not say enough about (Flexiciser™) and what it has done for me. I feel it is a blessing to me. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart…

I am a paraplegic with a T12 spinal cord injury. My husband purchased the Flexiciser™ as a Christmas present and it is one of the best gifts I have ever received. This is not just a piece of furniture that you hang last nights clothes on it is (a) machine that produces results! My circulation in my legs has increased and some toning in my legs has come back. I have my Flexiciser™ in my living room and I watch TV every night so it is not an in convenience or a hassle to use. The Flexiciser™ is worth the investment to your health.

My son, Tres Sansom, and my wife Judy have been talking with you folks over the last week or so about his broken crank shaft (for lack of a better term) and our need to replace it as soon as possible. We have owned a Flexiciser™ for probably 13 years or more - we saw it at the Abilities Expo when it came to Dallas 13 or 14 years ago. Anyway we are on our second Flexiciser™, having flat worn out the first one.
…our son Tres uses his Flexiciser™ for an hour each and everyday of the year and when we travel, it goes with us. We've re-arranged many hotel rooms to accommodate the Flexiciser™. We and he credit the Flexiciser™ for preventing much of the atrophy associated with quadriplegia and there is no way he could drive without his daily stretching provided by the Flexiciser™. We've recommended it to many people who've also experienced quadriplegia and will continue to do so because it is such an important piece of essential equipment for improving the everyday life of a quadriplegic.

One reason I like the Flexiciser™ is that it lets you adjust the speed for anyone’s (ability) level. You can also set a time limit for how long you want to (practice movement therapy). I like the fact that you can use just your feet or your hands. In my opinion, you don’t have to do much to get a good workout.

The Flexiciser™ has provided much needed and beneficial (movement) for my daughter with spastic cerebral palsy. It’s easy to use and convenient. You can use an appropriate chair or just position her wheelchair, remove the footplates, hook up to the Flexiciser™ and you’re ready to go. We’ve used this equipment for nearly 7 years; it’s still part of her therapeutic program and delivers a decent workout. It has really helped the muscle tone and the tightness. The biggest thing is that she enjoys it and continues to use the Flexiciser™.

My family can’t thank you enough for the Flexiciser™ that you sent us. Our son Ryan has a severe debilitating disease called Duchene Muscular Dystrophy. He is almost 13 years old, but he can barley move his body. Other than that he is a typical teenage boy. On a normal day before the Flexiciser™ Ryan would sit in his power chair for about 16 hours a day without really moving his legs or arms much at all. Now, after a surgery to release some contractures so his legs can move freely, and move with the Flexiciser™, he now moves his legs slowly and rapidly at the pace that is best suited for him in a bicycling motion, for about an hour or two a day. The words from his mouth were “Look mom I’m running.” The use of this machine has brought back his strength quicker after surgery and not left his legs limp. (Which I have seen on other children after this surgery with DMD, because they have not had any way to (move).) It has also increased his circulation so he sleeps better at night without getting leg cramps. God has somehow inspired you to give people a second chance in life…cause God is a God of second chances.

I use it daily and it fits my needs perfectly. I use it once in the evening. It is an excellent machine. It has reduced my adema in the lower part of my extremities.

I use a wheelchair because I have MS. I started using the Flexiciser™ only three weeks ago and it's already really helping my legs. They were swelling and really aching at night, and I'd gotten pressure sores on my ankles. The sores are now clearing up and there is no more pain since the machine is helping improve my circulation.

I was blown away seeing my legs move for the first time in 15 ½ years. It was something I never thought I would see without stem cell. After I tried the Flexiciser™, my legs were tingling. I am a T12-L1 paraplegic and haven’t felt anything that exciting (in my legs) in years. Usually all I feel is nerve pain. Thank you so much! I can’t wait to get my own.

This is an excellent machine. I use it at my adaptive PE class at Citrus College. They have five machines and all are very popular. I have arthritis in my knees and lymphedema. The workout on the Flexiciser™ increases my flexibility and circulation. I love to use it and visit with the people on the other four machines.

Every year at the trade show I have come looking for the Flexiciser™ so I can enjoy using the machine. Now that you have a payment plan I can afford to get my very own Flexiciser™!

I have diabetes, arthritis and neuropathy. Regular use of my Flexiciser™ has resulted in better circulation, range of motion, and decreased pain. It was one of my best investments.

We would like to express our gratitude to Flexiciser™ International, Inc. and all of the employees who represent this company.
The professionalism held with the ability to be “down to earth” with your customers is a rarity we have encountered with others who are in your type of profession. The other topic I feel is most important to express is the results that we have gotten in such a short period of time. Bradley has use the Flexiciser™ everyday for 2 hours upon its arrival. (That would account for a total of 9 days.) …He is able and wants to stay in his wheel chair for longer periods of time. …

I have been using Flexiciser™ for more than 5 years. I find it reduces swelling in my feet and arms and mules toned. It is worth the money.

After thirty years as a rehabilitation professional, I am convinced that the Flexiciser™ is the state of the art equipment for enhancing the quality of life for those who are mobility challenged. It provides customized uses that improve circulation, strength, stamina, and muscle coordination and is wheelchair accessible.

Gavilan College is proud of the Disabled Students’ Programs and Services we provide to our students to enhance the quality of their lives and help them develop their potential as individuals.

We consider the two Flexiciser™s that we purchased for use by our students to be a vital part of our program. We expected good results but the Flexiciser™ has exceeded our expectations. Our students have received so much from the Flexiciser™s that it is one of the most sought after machines we have available. We have some students that come in everyday that we are open to use the machine because it makes them feel so much better. The machines are nearly always in use by someone. The students have told their instructors that they simply love it.
We would highly recommend the Flexiciser™ to anyone wanting a tool to provide (therapy) for the mobility challenged. There are few if any machines that can provide such a wide variety of people from quadriplegics to those with arthritic knees to those with cerebral palsy with a fantastic workout. The Flexiciser™ truly makes a huge difference in the lives of those lucky enough to have one or know where to go to use one. We encourage other schools, gymnasiums, and therapy providers who are considering new equipment to get a Flexiciser™.

Citrus College has used Flexiciser™s for over fifteen years and our disabled students absolutely love the increased range of motion they gain from using the Flexiciser™. It is the best passive (therapy) machine to increase flexibility that I have ever seen or heard about.

In my examination of Flexiciser™, it provides many therapeutic benefits.

  1. Due to the reciprocal movement of the handles and base, the client should be able to improve range of motion of shoulder flexion and extension, and knee flexion and extension. In addition, with the repetitive movement, the client can also improve the strength in the upper and lower extremities.
  2. Due to the ability to change the speed control/RPM, the clients can also work on their cardiovascular status.
  3. Due to the ability to set a timer control, the clients can work on improving their endurance.
  4. The handle bars will also work on coordination and balance

Given the aforementioned benefits, the Flexiciser™ would be specifically advantageous for patients with neuromuscular problems, such as the early stages of Parkinson’s Disease. Other diagnoses that are orthopedic related, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, total shoulder replacement, arthroscopic surgery, and arthritis, would experience physical benefits from the usage of the equipment.

Finally, the Flexiciser™ is excellent for cardiovascular rehabilitation, particularly for those patients who are recovering from a CABG or Myocardial Infarction.

From the clinical assessment of the Flexiciser™, I am definitely impressed by the therapeutic benefits of the Flexiciser™. I strongly desire this equipment to be covered, in order that it is available to the sector of population who are faced with these medical challenges. I am certain that the utilization of the Flexiciser™ would improve the client’s functional mobility status, thus allowing their clients to realize a significant improvement in their quality of life.”

As a nurse case manager, I have facilitated purchase of a Flexiciser™ for a quadriplegic and a tetraplegic – both having minimal use of upper extremities. In each case there has been seen a decrease of in lower extremity spasticity. There is also an emotional uplift. As one individual put it – “This is the first time I’ve seen all 4 extremities working at the same time since my accident.”

The Center of Achievement for the Physically Disabled at CSUN has had two of the Flexiciser™s for eight years. We have used this equipment with hundreds of individuals with disabilities ranging from moderate to severe levels and we have observed very positive reactions. In fact, due to the growing demand we have decided to add a third unit. In addition to the apparent benefits of improved range of motion and joint mobility, we use the equipment as an assistive (therapy) to encourage the strengthening of weakened muscles.
